Immediate Media’s creative output is a rich tapestry woven from a diverse array of images, words, ideas, information, and emotions. Fuelled by a predominantly youthful demographic and a deep sense of Bristolian local pride, the company exudes a uniquely vibrant atmosphere. Rather than imposing rigid corporate workplace design principles or conforming to conventional space metrics, we endeavoured to nurture and preserve this distinctive vibe.
In a collaborative effort, we encouraged teams to personalize their workspaces, allowing them to ‘domesticate’ their surroundings with their own collateral and memorabilia, thereby fostering a sense of ownership and belonging. Moreover, we partnered closely with Immediate’s marketing team to conceive a building-wide environmental graphics scheme. Drawing inspiration from abstracted landmarks and visual motifs of Bristol, this scheme adds an additional layer of excitement and meaning to the overall workspace, transforming it into a true source of inspiration and creativity.
Eagle House, Colston Avenue in Bristol was awarded the Refurbished/Recycled Workplace award, for its bold and imaginative transformation into a modern workplace. The BCO judges acknowledged the many challenges this project faced
during the refurbishment, but were impressed by the clear, efficient, and attractive space that has been delivered through the final design. The judges also noted the drastic improvement to the building’s internal space, where the addition of an impressive atrium, a roof terrace, a central staircase, and a remodeled entrance and auditorium space have all brought a new sense of character to the building.’

Testimonial
“Lorenc team have transformed Eagle House into a fantastic home for our business, that promotes collaboration and inspires creativity and innovation. A new floor was added to the building to accommodate our evolving teams, a once unused basement converted into The Courtyard – our wonderful new café and communal area – and a central atrium created to maximise natural light and provide visual contact and circulation across all floors. Elsewhere, careful thought has gone into designing a host of multi-purpose meeting and breakout spaces over Eagle House’s seven floors, while our auditorium seating area provides us with a fantastic social and events space. We’re thrilled to have a new home that enhances our culture and supports our people and business in the centre of the city”.
