Set within the ground floor of a distinguished Edwardian landmark positioned among the grand clubs of Pall Mall, the 3,500 ft² gallery serves as a dynamic venue for exhibitions, installations, and cultural programming. Developed in partnership with Stabb Interiors, the gallery unfolds across two levels, featuring expansive exhibition spaces, an intimate private viewing room, and flexible event facilities that accommodate screenings, panel discussions, and live performances.

Working in close collaboration with structural, fire, and lighting consultants, we transformed the original Daimler-Chrysler showroom along with dark, underutilised basement into a light-filled, generously proportioned gallery environment. The design creates a calm and flexible architectural backdrop for the display of art, maximising volume, daylight, and spatial clarity across multiple levels connected by new staircase.

A series of carefully integrated interventions—including concealed fire curtains, sliding display walls that reveal substantial storage areas, and discreetly embedded power and AV infrastructure—minimise visual clutter while supporting the gallery’s diverse operational requirements. The result is a highly adaptable exhibition environment capable of accommodating Gallery’s evolving programme without compromising the purity of the visitor experience.
