The project entailed the consolidation of Montagu’s office spaces from two separate London locations into two expansive floors at 2 More London, an iconic development boasting sweeping, panoramic views of the city skyline. Our strategic focus revolved around adapting to the evolving post-COVID workplace dynamics, aligning with Montagu’s robust support for hybrid and agile working models.
Montagu was acutely aware that their new office had to be more than just a workspace; it needed to become a ‘destination’ that would entice and engage their staff to return. The brief underscored key priorities such as sustainability, well-being, connectivity, and collaboration, which manifested in striking features such as lush green walls and the addition of a connecting staircase linking the two floors.
Our role extended beyond workplace consultancy, encompassing the production of detailed space plans, development of Stage II Concept Design, and the formulation of a comprehensive brief for the Design & Build tender. Subsequently, we were retained as Design Guardians throughout the fit-out phase, collaborating closely with Morgan Lovell until practical completion.
The result has been met with immense enthusiasm from Montagu, underscoring the profound sense of involvement that staff and stakeholders felt in shaping an environment they genuinely take pride in.
